The YY550 is a 76–81 GHz FMCW radar level transmitter designed for continuous level measurement in storage tanks, process vessels and silos. Its narrow beam angle allows installation near walls and agitators, while the lens antenna keeps performance stable in dust, vapour and foam.

Will foam or vapour affect the reading?

The 76–81 GHz signal and lens antenna penetrate most vapour and handle light foam. Heavy foaming tanks benefit from stilling wells or guided wave radar.

Can it measure solids in silos?

Yes — the narrow 3° beam and dust immunity make it suitable for powders and granulates up to 30 m.

What antenna do I need?

Threaded lens antennas suit small nozzles; flanged versions cover DN80–DN150 nozzles on large tanks.
