The WSU300 ultrasonic level transmitter measures the time of flight of an ultrasonic pulse to the liquid surface. Non-contact sensing, a clear LCD and simple menu operation make it the economical choice for water, wastewater and chemical tanks where radar performance is not required.
| Measurement range | 5 m / 10 m (others optional) |
|---|---|
| Blind zone | 0.35 m |
| Accuracy | ±0.5% FS |
| Display | LCD |
| Output signal | 4-20 mA (RL < 500 Ω), relays |
| Typical media | Water, wastewater, chemicals (non-contact) |
| Installation | Top-mounted transducer |
| Configuration | Local buttons and LCD |
| Power supply | 24 VDC (options on request) |
| Note | Foam, heavy vapour and oblique surfaces can affect ultrasonic readings |

For clean water and wastewater duty on a budget, ultrasonic is cost-effective. For foam, vapour, dust or high accuracy, choose 80 GHz radar or guided wave.
0.35 m — the transducer must be mounted at least this distance above the maximum liquid level.
Yes, thick foam absorbs ultrasound. In foaming tanks we recommend the YY series 80 GHz radar.
