The YOYI YYTM series thermal mass flow meter measures gas mass flow directly using the constant-temperature-difference principle. No separate pressure or temperature compensation is required, making it the simplest and most economical way to meter compressed air, natural gas, biogas and flare gas.
Standard configurations are listed below. Custom liners, electrodes, connections and communication options are available on request.
| Model | Type | DN range | Air flow range | Pressure |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YYTM-I15 | Inline | DN15 | 0.3 – 30 Nm³/h | 4.0 MPa |
| YYTM-I25 | Inline | DN25 | 1 – 90 Nm³/h | 4.0 MPa |
| YYTM-I50 | Inline | DN50 | 4 – 360 Nm³/h | 1.6 MPa |
| YYTM-S80 | Insertion | DN80 – DN300 | 12 – 1100 Nm³/h | 1.6 MPa |
| YYTM-S300 | Insertion | DN300 – DN1000 | 110 – 12000 Nm³/h | 1.6 MPa |
| YYTM-S1000 | Insertion | DN1000 – DN4000 | 1200 – 200000 Nm³/h | 1.6 MPa |
Ranges quoted for air at 0 °C, 101.325 kPa. Other gases (N₂, O₂, CO₂, CH₄, H₂, biogas) are calibrated with a gas factor.
Two resistance temperature detectors sit on a probe: one is heated, one measures the gas temperature. The power needed to hold a constant temperature difference between them is a direct measure of how much heat the gas carries away — that is, its mass flow.
Because heat transfer depends on mass, not volume, the meter needs no pressure or temperature compensation. This is why a single insertion probe can meter a DN1000 duct as accurately as an inline meter meters a DN25 pipe.

Condensation and oil mist coat the sensor. Use the inline version with a filter, or clean the probe periodically; for wet gas a vortex meter is often better.
Every 2-3 years in clean gas. The sensor is field-replaceable, so no pipe work is required.
Yes — specific heat capacity matters. We calibrate per gas; for variable mixtures we supply a composition-correction input.
